  1. For final assembly place the 2 ballast tanks into the bottom hull.

    • Once the ballast tanks are in place you can install the PPM in the centre of bottom hull.

  2. Once everything is in place it is time to insert the connectors into the bulkheads of the PPM.

    • Start with the bottom connectors first slide them into the bulkhead. You may need to twist the connector to line up the flat spot of the connector wih the flat spot on the bulkhead.

    • Once the connector has been inserted screw the cap all the way on to ensure a watertight seal.

    • Once the bottom connectors have been installed you can install the top 2 connectors.

  3. Before you put the Submarine in the water ensure that you have the plugs installed in the vents on the 2 ballast tanks and the PPM

    • Make sure they are screwed in all the way to ensure they are watertight.

  4. The final setup is to trim the Submarine so that it sits level in the water.

    • This will take some work of placing the submarine in water and working out where you need to place weight or where you need to add bouyancy by adding foam etc.

    • Here you can see another foam insert that we created for the top aft cap. We found the rear of the sub to be quite heavy so had to add a fair bit of foam to the back and weight in the front to level it out.
