How to Sign Up
First, schools must register via the REA website for the program they are delivering.

Schools can access free Dassault Systemes Software

Selecting either “Submarine in School” or “Formula1 in Schools” as your challenge is required.
There is an approval process which involves signing up, entering details and receiving a confirmation email which teaks around 24-48 hours.
Following approval, users will then be permitted to download software packages including CATIA.
A windows computer is required for CATIA. Access to web-based CAD is available on all platforms.
What is included?
- Access to CATIA software
- Access to CFD tools
- Access to 3DS Project management tools
- Project-specific guides and tutorials. Complete walk throughs for both Subs in Schools and F1 in Schools have been developed for student use.
The package is a professional CAD package used by leading industry including Tesla, Toyota, Boeing and many more. The capabilities are far beyond what is required for the competition but students will have access to many tools.

We would encourage schools to download the full CATIA package however, xDesign is also a very useful tool and allows for web-based CAD design.
