Troubleshooting
Overview
There are a small number of potential sources of error that may be causing your frame to fail. These are listed below in the recommended order of operations to restoring function to your system.
Frame Separating
Component Variation
Small differences in the length of the PVC components can add up and cause the ROV frame to become slightly out of square.
This can be fixed by first identifying the components that may be slightly too long. Often these are easily identifiable by means of a visual check to see if there are any gaps between female connectors.
Once identified, cut and or sand the components to the precise length required, and refit the frame.
Loose Connections
If the components are slightly too short to fully fit into the tapering connections of the PVC fittings, or are just loose, refer to Frame Assembly.
Missing / Damaged Components
Replacing Components
The ROV Kit is designed to be re-used year on year, and in doing so, components may become damaged or lost.
All frame components are commonly available through any hardware / home improvement stores in that stock PVC pipe and fittings.
In the unlikely event that a new ROV Kit is missing component(s), contact Re-Engineering Australia here and we will aid you with the best solution to the issue.
