How to Navigate a Build Guide

The 2021 REA Submarine Kit consists of five main modules. This includes the Aft Cap, Ballast Tanks, Fore Cap, Hull & Buoy and the Power & Processing Module.

Each of these modules are addressed within a ‘Category’ in the Submarine Build Guide.

Within these categories, two sub-categories can be found, including an ‘Assembly’ and ‘Components’ categories.

The ‘Assembly’ category contains all of the associated how-to guides that are involved in the construction of the module. As seen in the example below.

The ‘Components’ category details all of the ‘Components Supplied in the Kit’ and the ‘Components to be Manufactured’.

Within the individual how-to guides an introduction, tools and parts list, along with detailed text and visual process steps can be found, which will assist the assembly and construction of the Submarine Kit.

These guides have been set out in a specific order that we recommend keeping to to maximise efficiency and ease of assembly.

At the bottom of the build guide categories a variety of ‘Support Questions’ can be found. These Q&A style questions include a variety of the frequently asked questions, with their associated answers.

If you have a question that has not already been addressed, we encourage you to post it and we will respond accordingly. This will not only assist you, but may also help others who experience the same issues, or seek similar clarifications.
